After residency for 1 year does yr of graduation matter

Dear Dr ROCK

I know things are competitive , i am an old grad 93 and IMG with good scores I have got residency in prelim position for 1 year ,After being in residency for a year,if i apply for the field of my choice that is next year in 2009 for eras match of 2010, does this old grad nonsense still trouble you or people look at you in a favorable way. Your opinion will be very very helpful.
